Locker Forge Hubs: How the Five Sections Fit Together

2 min read

Title card for the Locker Forge blog post "Locker Forge Hubs: How the Five Sections Fit Together" — what each hub does and how they link together.
Contents3 sections

Locker Forge is one site with five sections — we call them hubs. Each hub answers a different kind of question, and they are built to hand you to each other. Here is what each one is for.

The five hubs

Tutorials. Full, tested guides that teach a task from start to finish — “learn the craft, one tested step at a time.” You come here when you want to learn how something is done properly, not just get it done once.

Blog. Build logs and quick tips from the workbench. The Tutorials teach; the Blog explains how things here get made — what we are building, what we tested, and what we changed our minds about. This post lives in the Blog.

Solutions. Short fixes for specific problems, organised by the error message or symptom you have. Its heading says it plainly: “Something broke? Start here.” You come here mid-problem, and the fix should not make you read a whole course first.

Free Resources. Checklists, starter files and small tools, free to everyone. They are the working papers that go with the guides — the list you tick off while you build, rather than the lesson itself.

Docs. The reference shelf for our products: setup guides, every setting explained, and changelogs (the list of what changed in each version). You come here when you own a product and need the exact answer about one part of it.

The hubs are not five separate piles. They pass you along:

  • A Tutorial that uses one of our products links to that product’s Docs for the settings it does not cover.
  • A Solution fixes your problem, then links to the Tutorial that teaches the task properly, so the problem stays fixed.
  • A Free Resource checklist links to the guides behind each item on it.
  • The Blog links to everything it talks about, so a build log is always one click from the thing being built.

The goal is simple: wherever you land, the next step you need is one click away, and you never have to guess which section holds it.

Where things stand

The Tutorials are live now. Solutions, Free Resources and Docs are open and filling — they grow as products move toward release on the Products page. We would rather open a hub with a few solid pieces than fill it with placeholders, so each one builds at the speed of tested work.
